Patient with symptoms like fever, cough, difficulty breathing, runny nose, sore throat needs to stay at home, take precautions and call our practice. Let our receptionist know about your symptoms.
Then, we will book the patient for phone/ video consultation with our doctor. If the patient has been advised to come by the doctor, then the patient needs to take the precautions and wear mask, wait outside, call the receptionist, and the doctor will examine the patient outside the building.

Comprehensive and individualised care plans can ensure that the goals to achieve optimal health are managed along with all aspects of chronic diseases. Some care plan patients are eligible for referral to allied health providers at a subsidised cost. We provide GP managed care for chronic conditions including:

Health Assessments for over 75’s
To identify any health issues and to optimise the quality of life, a comprehensive annual health check is recommended for all people aged over 75. This assessment test may include lifestyle assessment, mobility observation, medication review, nutrition review, exercise review & recommendations, observing and arranging safety in the home measures, care arrangements and support networks.
On-site Pathology: Laverty
Boorowa Hospital Medical Centre offers on-site pathology services provided by Laverty Pathology when taking a blood test, stool or urine sample etc. is necessary. Laverty Pathology is one of Australia’s leading comprehensive medical laboratory and pathology service provider.
After conducting a test, the result will be sent directly to the doctor. You will be informed by either the nurse or the doctors as to when to return to your doctor for the test results.
